Your domain is somewhere else? The transfer takes a few minutes on your side – the registries do the rest.

Prepare at your old provider
Unlock the domain and request the auth code (also called EPP code). Write down your DNS records first.
Transfer here
Choose "Transfer to us" above, enter the domain and order. You enter the auth code in the cart.
Done
Once the transfer is complete, the domain shows up in your client area and you manage everything there.

How fast is a new domain active?

Usually shortly after payment. Some extensions take a little longer at the registry.

What is an auth code?

A password for your domain issued by your current provider. It confirms the domain is yours and may be transferred.

Do I need web hosting?

No. You can point the domain at any server – a VPS with us, your web hosting or somewhere else.

Can I use email with my domain?

Yes, with our email package or web hosting. Both can be connected to the domain.

Can I cancel a domain?

Yes, any time in the client area, effective at the end of the term. Until then it stays yours.
